Lanzarote's Fiery Heart: Timanfaya & La Geria Exclusive

It’s windy destination, three outside experiences and most of tour is viewed from the bus. Highly recommended.

If you are coming to the island, this is a must. For the price, this is definitely worth it. Coaches get to skip the 2 hours of traffic, which you would be sitting in, to get into the national park in a car/hire car. The €30 entrance fee per person to get into the park is actually included in the price of the tour ticket, so this isn’t an extra! The camel ride is also only €11 (I was expecting it to be a lot more) and it was clear they get treated very well, as Michael, our tour guide explained. Michael, the guide, and Melvic, the driver were amazing all the way through. The bus was comfy and driven really well, and when the road was closed down, Melvic even convinced the council staff to let us through so we would be on time! The tour was really really interesting, and at all of our stops, there was a chance for a toilet. My pictures give the views and the landscape absolutely NO justice. You have to see this in person to really get a sense for how beautiful it is. This was easily the best part of our trip to Lanzarote, made great by a fantastic local tour company. The bus was full, but there was a seat for everyone, and considering tour buses skip the public traffic, I’d really suggest this. The experience is great.

We really enjoyed the tour! The bus was comfy, the pickup point not far from where we are staying. Tour guide Michael was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, and he was very passionate and proud of Lanzerote. Bus driver Melvic was a pro. The tour was very interesting and not too long at 5 hours.

The pick up was dead on time and Michael our tour guide was very pleasant. He kept us all well informed and kept us all amused by his comments. The camel ride was a first for us and we were well impressed. A definite attraction to book.

Worth the price. Michael was a great guide, Timanfaya is such a unique experience and we got to purchase some of the Lanzarote wines from La Geria.

This is the must-do experience in Lanzarote. We found that this tour was the perfect length with three major stops: camel ride, volcano park and finally wine tasting. We liked that the guide was informative but not overbearing and kept moving things along. We also liked that the bus picked us up/drop us off at out hotel and that it had priority entrance everywhere (individual car entrance had a 90 minutes wait).

It's a must not miss tour. It's a history of Lanzerote. It tells you so.much and there are stunning views.

Two families realy enjoyed the tour led by guide Michael and driven by Malik. Both were amazing, funny and full of information about the formation of vulcanic Lanzarote. If you get a chance to select the guide and the driver I'd suggest those two, but I guess you can't miss anyway.

Really nice tour, with a great tour-guide (Paul) and driver (Roberto). Excellent commentary, with lots of information about the island, and its volcanic history. Perfect for solo travellers (Me), couples, or groups ! Would highly recommend. Covered a great route through the National Park (Route only accessible by a tour-bus).

Pick up late, lot of hanging around before got to first real stop. Toilet on bus not available caused problems. Each visit then curtailed to a few minutes not giving opportunity to explore locations. Guide informative but lacked empathy with guests needs.
